Helmut-Weber Pokalschieen 2020 with a new record number of participants

Despite the corona pandemic, the Helmut Weber trophy shooting at the Elkhausen-Katzwinkel Schtzenverein was again held this year under strict hygiene measures in September / October. As in previous years, the association again welcomed many delegations from local associations, families and political bodies.

Katzwinkel. The company cup, which was held for the first time last year, was again very popular this year. In total, the club was able to register 349 starts at the shooting range in Bleienkamp within two weeks, 88 of which were in the company cup.
Due to the Corona restrictions, the first trophies were distributed by board members to the starters, clubs and companies, as far as the hygiene measures allowed. Many a winner can therefore look forward to their award.

As last year, the challenge cup goes to Elkhausen as the best team, but this time to the Weber, Wilhelm, Zimmermann and Holschbach families, who competed as a team called WeWiZiHo. With a partial rating of 71, they took 1st place.

The best divisional rating overall was achieved with a divisor of 7 by Katja Wilhelm. The A-Team from LVM Versicherung Manfred Kern was able to secure the challenge cup at the company cup with a partial rating of 114.

The Schtzenverein Elkhausen-Katzwinkel thanks all participants and helpers for the successful event which was well received despite special conditions. (PM)
