Mohamed Farouk, the player of the Pyramids team, denied the rumors about his signing of the transfer contracts to Al-Ahly, in an exchange deal with Ahmed Al-Sheikh, the player of the Red Castle.
Farouk said in statements to the match program on the Sada Al-Balad channel: “I have been talking during the last period about my move to Al-Ahly, and the agreement between Pyramids and Ahmed Al-Sheikh has been concluded, and my signature deal for Al-Ahly is suspended until sitting with Amir Tawfiq, the contracting director at the Red Castle in order to negotiate some matters.” .
He added: “I send a message to Al-Ahly fans that I do not play with too much enthusiasm when I face my former team, and this is my usual way of playing in front of all the team, where I always look for victory.”
He continued: “I won with Al-Ahly many tournaments, and in the event that the deal is not completed, I will remain one of the club’s fans.”
Farouk concluded his remarks, “Just that Al-Ahly spoke to me, I would not think about it, because it is an honor for any player to wear the Al-Ahly shirt.”
