Disappearing messages on WhatsApp
That chat app WhatsApp would come with disappearing reports were equally known. From now on, the feature will actually roll out to users of version 2.20.206.10 of the app. On the Android Planet editors it can already be seen and used. That’s the point beta users of the app.

You can only enable the function for private or group conversations of which you are the administrator. To make use of automatic messages that disappear, use the steps below:
- Open WhatsApp on your smartphone

- Click on a (private) conversation in which you want to activate the function

- Tap that person’s name at the top
Then you will end up in the settings menu of that conversation ‘;
- Scroll to ‘Messages with due date’

You should also take into account that a recipient can of course always forward the message or take a screenshot. As the person who sent the message, you will not be notified of this. If you enable the function, the conversation partner will be notified. This way he or she knows that messages disappear from the chat conversation after seven days.
As mentioned, only group call administrators can turn this feature on and off (right for everyone). The time span of the disappearance of messages cannot be switched on. Whether we will ever see a possibility, where this will also be after a few hours or, for example, a day, is still the question.
