Dráhařka Kaňkovská became the vice-champion of Europe in keirin

“Sara started racing as she rode in juniors, she is not afraid. In the finals she expertly guarded her position and defended the second position.

She won the second medal for the Czech expedition in Bulgaria. The silver was won on the first day of the competition by a team of sprinters consisting of Tomáš Bábek, Dominik Topinka, Martin Čechman and Jakub Šťastný.

Bábek also belonged to the co-Bavarians Keirin, who won the European Championships in 2016, but had to be satisfied with participating in the small final. He won the consolation race and took seventh place overall.
