In Arizona, Donald Trump’s attorneys withdrew a lawsuit aimed at re-counting all votes counted on election day. That’s what CNN reports. The reason for the task was that it was foreseeable that Joe Biden’s lead in the embattled state could not have been overcome. The lawyers had argued that a number of voters feared that their votes would not be counted correctly because of irregularities in the counting machines – to the detriment of President Trump. Joe Biden’s team found that they had stated in advance that the lawsuit was groundless. Biden won Arizona, “and now it’s time to unite the country and move forward,” it said.
