The newly introduced SF90 Spider is Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid to have an opening roof. Compared to the SF90 Stradale, however, the difference is not only in the roof, although the changes are related to it.

The car weighs a total of 100 kg compared to a closed car, due to the roof and additional chassis reinforcements that were needed so that the car did not lose much of its torsional rigidity. It therefore weighs 1670 kg.

The carmaker further states in the press release that the interior of the car has moved a bit forward, the A-pillars are thinner and the windshield is a little more inclined than the closed variant. The car is also two centimeters lower.
