A few days ago, PlayStation 4 players began to receive messages suggesting that they cancel their pre-order for Cyberpunk 2077 – and messages were received even by those who did not issue it. This alarmed many and further strengthened the belief that the fantastic sandbox of the Polish studio CD Projekt will really be released only by 2077.
Sony Interactive Entertainment today decided to clarify and apologize for the false alarm:
