The band currently consists of Angus Young (guitar), Brian Johnson (vocals), Cliff Williams (bass), Phil Rud (drums) and Steve Young (rhythm guitar). This is the band’s first album released after the death of its co-founder and rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young in 2017. Power Up is dedicated to his memory.
The album is produced by Brendan O’Brien, who has also produced two previous AC / DC albums Black Ice (2008) a Rock or Bust (2014).
