Samsung dominates the top 10 best-selling smartphones of the past quarter with the Galaxy A21s at the top.
Samsung is going the last quarter very tasty, partly due to the corona pandemic. The South Korean tech brand was back in that period king of the smartphone. That was undoubtedly partly to do with the Galaxy S20 series and perhaps even the Galaxy Fold 2 contributed a bit to it. But one smartphone in particular earned Samsung that title: the Galaxy A21s!
Samsung Galaxy A21s = hot cakes
Research office Canalys investigated in the past quarter (Q3 2020) which smartphones dominated the market. Not entirely surprising, Apple managed to make a profit with no less than two devices. The iPhone 11 and iPhone SE were sold more than 16 million and 10 million times worldwide.
Samsung, on the other hand, also managed to conquer a solid part of the smartphone pie. The South Koreans are in the top 10 with no fewer than 5 Galaxy smartphones. All five are mid-range devices from the A-series, with the Samsung Galaxy A21s triumphing.
The dirt cheap device – recently too available in the Netherlands is – going like a rocket. Slightly fewer Galaxy A21s than iPhone SEs were sold. With that, Samsung just earns a place in the top 3 best-selling smartphones of Q3 2020. It is also the best-selling Android smartphone of that period.
