Coronavirus November 12. Mexico exceeds 991 thousand cases of Covid-19; there are 97 thousand deaths

Mexico accumulated, at the cut of this November 12, 97 thousand 56 deaths from Covid-19, with 991 thousand 835 cases of confirmed infections of coronavirus, according to authorities of the Health Secretary.

Jose Luis Alomy, General Director of Epidemiology, detailed in a press conference from the National Palace that there are one million 207 thousand negative cases accumulated in the country.

CDMX approaches the red traffic light

The Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, warned that the epidemiological traffic light is closer to red due to the change in trend in hospitalizations of Covid-19 patients, since they already total more than 3,000.

When questioned if Mexico City is closer to the red light, Sheinbaum commented: “Yes, above all the change in trend is what is striking, the growth in the number of beds occupied daily.”
