Croatia – New daily record in Croatia with 3,082 coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours and a strong jump in patients with active infection, to date 16,348. Since yesterday 32 people have died, bringing the total number of victims to 925. According to the government, the situation cannot be defined as critical, with Croatia presenting an epidemic “visibly better than that of neighboring countries”.
Bulgaria – The coronavirus infection curve remains high in Bulgaria: in the last 24 hours 47 deaths have been reported and the total number of victims rises to 1,898. Since yesterday in the Balkan country, which has about 7 million inhabitants, 3,945 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded out of 10,830 diagnostic tests carried out.
Romania – In Romania the toll of the last 24 hours was 10,142 new coronavirus infections and 121 deaths. As reported by the regional media, there are 12,852 patients in hospital, of which 1,152 in intensive care, the highest number since the beginning of the epidemic. In total, the infections in the country – the hardest hit in the Balkans – have so far been 334,236, with 8,510 victims.
Ukraine – In Ukraine they have been ascertained 11,057 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours: the highest number since the beginning of the epidemic.

Brazil – Brazil has reached 163,406 deaths due to the coronavirus, including 504 between Tuesday and yesterday, according to the health secretariats of state governments, to which was also added the government of Sao Paulo, which was not presenting its data since last week following an alleged hacker attack. The moving average for the past seven days has been 319 deaths, down 27% from the average two weeks ago.
