Richard and his alter ego Jopie Parlevliet currently have a big hit with the song ‘Tebbie Nou Op Je Muil’. The gentlemen wanted that Radio Veronica love to chat with Richard about it. The other way around, Richard seemed like fun too, until he heard that Wilfred Genee was doing the interview.
“Richard Groenendijk has a blast. We wanted him in the broadcast and so his phone number out of date. He really wanted to cooperate”, said sidekick Rick Romijn in the show. “Producer Mark had him on the phone and I heard him say: ’30 seconds and then we go into the broadcast ‘”, adds Niels van Baarlen.

At this point, Richard indicated that he was not interested in an interview with Wilfred. “Wilfred interviewed me once and it was badly read,” he said, according to Rick. A short while later Richard would have sent an app in which he says sorry and justifies himself with the words: “I have such an unkind experience with that man.”
Wilfred himself does not understand it and found the interview in question, which took place a year ago, ‘very nice’. He mainly wonders why Richard doesn’t want to say this to his face. “If you think so, you say so, right?”
