Belgian national team grabbed a narrow 2-1 victory over Swiss in a friendly match. Michy Batshuayi be a hero The Red Devils with his two goals.
The Belgium vs Switzerland match took place at the King Power At Den Dreef Stadium, Thursday (12/11/2020) in the morning WIB. The home team was surprised by a goal Red Cross in the 12th minute.
Ademir Mehmedi shoots the ball with the left foot in the penalty box. The ball kicked into the lower right side of the Belgian goal and could not be reached by goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. 1-0 Switzerland lead.
Behind one goal, Belgium tried to equalize. Dodi Lukebakio’s left footed ball in the 28th minute from outside the penalty box can still be blocked by the Swiss defense.
Belgium again threatened in the 40th minute through Leander Dendoncker. Receiving Thorgan Hazard’s pass, the 25-year-old midfielder fired a long-range shot which was again able to be broken by the visitors’ back line.
Switzerland was able to maintain a 1-0 lead until the first half ended.
In the second half, Belgium finally managed to score a goal in the 50th minute. Michy Batshuayi listed his name on the scoreboard.
Starting from Youri Tielemans’ mature pass into the penalty box, Batshuayi received the ball and kicked it with his left foot without being able to be thwarted by goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo. Position changed 1-1.
Goal! Belgium turned ahead in the 70th minute. Batshuayi again tore the Swiss net via a kick ball in the penalty box, taking advantage of Thomas Foket’s pass, while changing the score to 2-1 for the home team.
Switzerland tries to find the equalizer in the remaining time through the efforts of Ruben Vargas, Xherdan Shaqiri and Edimilson Fernandes. But until the match ended, the score 2-1 for Belgium’s victory did not change.
