The Eastern police district reported just before 5 pm that both the police and the ambulance were at the accident site after the collision that took place in a southerly direction.
About half an hour later, they report that the E6 has been cleared and the southbound direction is open again.
– The accident was a rear-end collision at high speed. 1 person in each car, both driven to hospital with unknown degree of injury. Driver’s license seizure maintained by a police lawyer, the police write on Twitter.
The accident happened in the 110 zone. The E6 between Patterødkrysset and Årvollkrysset was closed to Sarpsborg as a result of the accident, but the road is open again.
