The Netherlands should argue for its own Security Council for the European Union, according to D66 and the CDA. This will enable the European Union to better respond to problems at the border.
In recent years, for example, there have been problems with Belarus, Libya and Turkey and decisiveness was not always the motto. President Macron and of France and Merkel of Germany also argued for the establishment of such a European Security Council. Great Britain should also be given a place in this, despite the fact that they are no longer in the EU.
