The Episcopal Care Foundation of the Anglican Episcopal Church organized two workshops on “managing concerns and psychological resilience”, as part of the institution’s management plan to support kindergarten teachers, and in light of the concern for their mental health.
For his part, Dr. Majid Moussa, Director of the Episcopal Care Foundation, said in a statement issued by the Episcopal Church today, that the workshop was attended by 28 teachers and kindergarten supervisors and the objectives of training were focused on the skills of overcoming adversity and the skills of accepting reality, adding that the foundation’s early childhood program is to prepare children in the targeted communities to join Basic education stage.
It is noteworthy that the Episcopal Care Foundation for Social Services (Episcoker) is the development arm of the Anglican Episcopal Church in Egypt and the Foundation runs centers and institutions for development and social services of the Episcopal Church in Egypt, and in 2003 the institution was officially registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to support people with special needs and provide services Rehabilitation and education for them after the church noticed the lack of these services in the city of Menouf in the governorate of Menoufia
