Ruud de Wild will determine from day to day whether he can present his radio program. A spokesperson for KRO-NCRV reported this when asked.
The NPO Radio 2 DJ has corona and made radio from his home quarantine on Monday. His colleague Paul Rabbering replaced him on Tuesday. “Ruud is really ill,” said the spokeswoman of KRO-NCRV. “He feels sick, has a headache and a fever. It is smarter to take a rest now and get sick.”
The broadcaster cannot say how long De Wild will be absent. “Ruud looks at how he feels from day to day. We are very grateful to Paul Rabbering that he was able to assist in the short term; we cannot wish for a better replacement.”
Ruud de Wild is not the only Radio 2 DJ who is currently at home due to a possible corona infection. In the night from Monday to Tuesday, Carolien Borgers canceled the presentation of her program ‘t Getting late now because of a stubborn snot nose. She was replaced by Malou Holshuijsen, who hosted the show in the summer.
