2:50 p.m.: Incidence in Lower Franconia continues to rise – LGL reports 13 new corona deaths
The corona virus continues to have its grip on Lower Franconia. According to the latest figures from the State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL), the 7-day incidence in the district has increased further to 123.1 (previous day 121.58). Compared to the previous day, according to the LGL, thirteen more people in Lower Franconia died as a result of a coronavirus infection: The Würzburg and Miltenberg districts reported four more deaths since yesterday, the cities of Schweinfurt and Würzburg and the Main-Spessart district each reported one corona fatality .
The city of Schweinfurt continues to have the highest infection rate in Lower Franconia, even if the incidence here is declining to 211.51 (previous day: 228.35), as is the case in the Schweinfurt district (176.71, yesterday 197.5). The incidence in the districts of Miltenberg (170.11, yesterday 121.17), Rhön-Grabfeld (123.06, yesterday 105.48) and Haßberge (103.1, yesterday 101.92) increased dramatically. In the district of Aschaffenburg, the corona traffic light has jumped to dark red – with a value of 111.94 (93.57 yesterday). The city of Aschaffenburg is only slightly below the limit of 100.
While the city of Würzburg reports the same incidence value compared to the previous day (132.1), the infection rate in the Würzburg district has fallen significantly to 122.61 (previous day 163.28). The Kitzingen district also reports a declining value (105.32, yesterday 117.38). Only the city of Aschaffenburg (97.18, yesterday 80.28) and the districts of Main-Spessart (84.81, yesterday 83.23) and Bad Kissingen (63.93, yesterday 58, 12).
