Volkswagen Arteon after facelift is in the Czech Republic. The style has shifted only slightly, but it is now also sold in a body variant Shooting Brake, ie as a design station wagon. However, it has only a slightly larger trunk capacity (565 compared to 563 liters in the basic configuration). He therefore relies more on appearance and possibly better equipment. The Shooting Brake also includes Easy Open electric trunk opening and keyless access. The price is 25 thousand crowns higher.
Arteon 2021 will be offered with a relatively wide range of engines, but these will go on sale gradually. That is why the current price list is posted on the official website of the Czech representation of the carmaker is rather poorer and includes only diesel engines combined with automatic engines DSG transmission. “Within one or two weeks, the offer will expand,” Volkswagen spokesman David Valenta told Autobibli.
Valenta also provided a more detailed quote. According to her, Arteon will start at the price of 851,900 crowns, which applies to the model with a 1.5 TSI engine with an output of 110 kW (150 hp). This is 40 thousand crowns less than Volkswagen charges for an equally powerful turbodiesel with the same equipment. The price list reveals that relatively powerful variants with 2.0 TSI engines are also being prepared. The most sporty is to be the R equipment with the 2.0TSI DSG 4Motion unit with a power of 206 kW (280 hp). However, the engine will also be available in lower versions of the R-Line and Elegance.
However, the price for the domestic market has not yet been set for the R variant. According to data from the Czech representation of Volkswagen, its production should start a week before Christmas. The new plug-in hybrid motorization is similar. The system combining a fourteen-liter petrol engine with an electric motor (a total of 115 kW / 156 hp) is not to be produced until 48 weeks this year, ie at the end of November. Cars for which the price has already been set can be ordered.
