DKI Governor Anies Baswedan visited Petamburan, West Jakarta to meet Habib Rizieq Syihab. The meeting took place on Tuesday (10/11) after Isha time.
The moment of the meeting was also uploaded by Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Tengku Zulkarnain on his Instagram account. In the photo, Anies is seen eating a black coat sitting with Habib Rizieq and Tengku Zulkarnain.
There is also Habib Rizieq Hanif Al-Athos’ son-in-law accompanying him. They appear to be wearing masks.
“We met after Isha, there were a lot of people earlier (noon). At dawn, maybe too many people. How could it not be dawn,” said Tengku, as reported by Antara, Wednesday (11/11/2020).
Tengku revealed that during the meeting the conditions around Habib Rizieq’s residence still looked busy. According to him, there was no specific discussion regarding the meeting.
“It’s still busy, I just looked for parking for four to five minutes, but when we met Habib it wasn’t crowded, other than that we only met for a while to drink tea,” he said.
Tengku said that Anies arrived earlier than him. It is not yet known if there will be any more meetings after this.
“I just went there from finishing Isha. Not together, he was from me first, even then I didn’t make an appointment,” he said.
“I don’t know yet. Tomorrow he (Rizieq Shihab) wants to marry his son again on Sunday, Sunday, I don’t know yet,” he added.
Previously, Wasekjen PA 212, Novel Bamukmin, revealed that Anies had plans to visit Habib Rizieq. But the meeting took place today.
“InsyaAllah tomorrow (red-Wednesday) dawn at HRS residence,” he said.
