In this case, we are talking about a new generation of in-line six-cylinder families of the Ingenium family, which are supplemented by a 48V on-board network to reduce fuel consumption, smoother operation or the possibility of driving with the combustion engine completely switched off.

Specifically, we are talking about a three-liter petrol six-cylinder P360 with an output of 265 kW and a torque of 500 Nm and diesel three-liter engines with aluminum construction D250 (183 kW and 570 Nm) and D300 (221 kW and 650 Nm), which alternate the existing units SD4 and SDV6.
If the six-cylinder would not suit you, there is also a P300 four-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 221 kW and a torque of 400 Nm, which is not a mildhybrid.
A key novelty taken from the brand’s previously modernized cars is also the new Pivi Pro multimedia system. Its central element is the new touch screen, which with a diagonal of 11.4 inches is 48% larger than the previous one. Infotainment offers a simpler menu for easier operation, the manufacturer also promises faster responses. There is even a pair of SIM cards, which allows you to use different functions at the same time, such as streaming music and downloading software updates without slowing down the system.
There is also a new automatic transmission selector or a new four-spoke steering wheel with metal gear levers and buttons that are optically concealed before they light up. In addition, the crew can use the air ionization function with measurement of the quality of the air received from the outside and advanced filtration for maximum reduction of allergens and other harmful substances.
As a family-oriented car, the Discovery received new tablet holders integrated into the front seats. They also have chargers with USB-A ports to minimize cable routing across the cab, and the integrated Wi-Fi hotspot allows up to eight devices to be connected, allowing all passengers to have fun while driving.
On the contrary, the stylistic changes are only decent. The new bumper emphasizes the strong look, and the graphics of the LED headlights are also new. The LED tail lights are also new, and the word Discovery in a new font is integrated into the black panel, which optically connects them. On the contrary, the controversial, sideways shift of the license plate remained.
