The unions Commissions Workers and UGT denounce that the breach in the prevention plans Occupational Health of the companies and the limited interest of the authorities in enforcing them, have favored the pandemic and outbreaks may occur if it is not taken into account for the de-escalation.
This Tuesday the International Occupational Health Day. Traditionally, unions take advantage of this day to make demands and to disseminate data on occupational accidents, occupational diseases and occupational mortality. But this year those data have been very complicated. It is impossible to know them since February.
That is why this year this celebration is doubly important, because the unions are very concerned about what may happen with everyone’s return to work if the measures are not taken seriously. But, as the Secretary General of Occupational Health of Workers Commissions, Daniel Patiño, there is no use insisting on masks and gloves, if hardly anyone takes the risks prevention labor:
