Rome, 10 November 2020 – Which ones shops must close? Which ones remain open in Italy in three colors (yellow, orange and red)? It is a changing map, that of Italy in terms of further restrictions to cope with the spread of Coronavirus (here the bulletin of November 9th). Yesterday Puglia and Sicily they added themselves in the orange zone also Liguria, Umbria, Tuscany, Basilicata, Abruzzo. While in the red zone they remain at the moment Calabria, Lombardy, Piedmont and Val d’Aosta. But under the magnifying glass is there Campania that could leave the yellow zone and go directly to the red one (here the monitoring of the ISS). Orange zone. I retail stores remain open (as in the yellow zone) while i shopping centers I’m closed on holidays and days before holidays (with the exception of food shops and pharmacies for example). Bar, restaurants, pubs, pastry shops and ice cream parlors are closed (this is the biggest difference with the yellow area where the restaurant business closes at 6pm with the exception of take-away and home delivery).

Red zone. In this case the Dpcm provides for closing even gods retail stores, except for those which, due to their particular product characteristics, can remain open. And in this case it is of fundamental impoprtanza Annex 23 to the Dpcm which precisely lists the articles that can remain operational. Between open activities in addition to food shops, pharmacies and parapharmacies, tobacconists and newsagents, also laundries, hardware stores, opticians, florists, bookstores, stationeries, IT, children’s clothing, toy makers, perfumeries, funeral parlors, vending machines.

Annex 24 instead it contains other activities that can remain open: laundry and cleaning of textile and fur articles, activities of industrial laundries, other laundries, dry cleaners, funeral services and related activities, services of barber and hairdressing salons.
