The Taiex Index rose 1.16% to 13,119. Meanwhile, the Kospi index rose 1.70% to 2,457. Straits Times rose 1.65% to 2,621. The FTSE Bursa Malaysia strengthened 0.84% ​​to 1,532.

The MSCI Asia Pacific ex-Japan index edged up 0.1% in early trading this morning after soaring 6.2% last week. This is the highest weekly increase since early June.
