According to EA, DICE is busy with the next Battlefield that will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X next year.
Speaking with investors, EA CEO Andrew Wilson has announced that DICE is going to impress thanks to the power of the new consoles. We will not have to wait long for it, because the game is already expected next year.
Andrew Wilson reported the following about the game:
“DICE is making our next Battlefield game on an unprecedented scale. The technical advancements of the new consoles allow the team to deliver a true next-gen vision for the franchise. We are conducting field testing internally and the team has received very positive feedback on the game as we started involving our community. The next Battlefield will launch in the fall of 2021 and we’re excited to share a lot more about the game in the spring. “
According to Wilson, fans shouldn’t have to worry about a possible postponement of the game either. Despite many AAA games being delayed due to the pandemic, DICE has already been given an extra year to develop the game.
