Masyumi is not a forbidden party, but asked to be disbanded by Bung Karno

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TVCoordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD spoke up in response to the declaration of the Indonesian Muslimin Syuro Assembly (Masyumi) by a number of Islamic figures.

According to her, Masjumi Party Declaration is not prohibited because it is not a prohibited party.

Unlike the PKI

This is different from the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) which was declared banned by the government.
