David Guetta won the Belgian brothers the main prize. In 2015, the DJ duo also took first place.
The unveiling took place during a virtual edition of the Amsterdam Music Festival. Big and less big names from the dance world performed, including the brand new number one. Martin Garrix and Armin Van Buuren finished in third and fourth place respectively.
Guetta last received the most votes from the public in 2011. At the time, he managed to break through the four-year hegemony of the Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren.
It is the 24th time that the public has been able to choose the best DJ in the world. In normal times the festival takes place in a packed Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, but that was not possible this year for obvious reasons.
