One of the suspects of an alleged gang rape in Brussels himself went to the police to tell his version of the facts. He’s apologized. The investigation into the facts is still ongoing.

Five to eight young people have assaulted a young girl in an Airbnb. The perpetrators filmed everything and posted the images on social media. A number of suspects were recognized, others appeared unrecognizable.
One of them has now reported himself to the police. To apologize and to give his version of the facts. What that version is, the police did not want to reveal in the interest of the ongoing investigation.
The young man in question, of Congolese descent, says he could run away at the time of the facts, but he didn’t. He says he feels guilty about that.
The investigation began after images of what could be gang rape were circulated on social media. They show five to eight men inhaling laughing gas and then abusing a young woman, probably a minor.
