Dijon fires his coach before challenging Metz, this Sunday
The news broke this Thursday evening: Olivier Delcourt, the president of the DFCO, decided to put an end to Stéphane Jobard’s coaching duties. The Dijon club is also stopping its collaboration with Peguy Luyindula, who, since May 2020, held the position of sports director.
“Following an interview this Thursday, November 5, Olivier Delcourt decided to terminate Stéphane Jobard’s contract as professional group coach,” wrote the DFCO in a press release.
“David Linarès, until then assistant coach, will be entrusted with the management of the professional group from this Friday and will lead the match FC Metz – DFCO this Sunday 8 November. He will continue this mission pending the appointment of a new coach. “
Dijon is currently 20th and last in Ligue 1 with three points and no victory at the opening of the championship.

Matthieu Udol and Fabien Centonze suspended
Excluded shortly before the break, last Sunday in Nîmes (0-1), Matthieu Udol knows his sanction: the Disciplinary Commission of the LFP imposed two suspension matches, including one suspended, to the left side of the Garnets. In other words, the defender Metz will ignore the reception of Dijon, this Sunday in Saint-Symphorien (3 p.m.).
For his part, Fabien Centonze will miss FC Metz’s next trip, scheduled for Sunday, November 22 (1 p.m.) in Nantes: the garnet defender has, in fact, received a suspension match for having been warned three times in less than ten official meetings.

The weekend program

Willy Delajod on the whistle for the reception of Dijon
A little less than a year after having crossed the route of Messins for the last time when Marseille (1-1) came in December 2019, Willy Delajod will meet Saint-Symphorien this Sunday. The 28-year-old referee has, in fact, been appointed to lead the match between FC Metz and Dijon counting for the 10th day of Ligue 1.
He will be assisted by Erwan Finjean and Philippe Jeanne.

The programming of the 13th day of Ligue 1 is known. FC Metz will host Olympique Lyonnais in Saint-Symphorien on Sunday 6 December. The kick-off will be given at 9 p.m.!

A new sponsor …
FC Metz formalized a new partnership in the middle of the week: it is about Technitoit, a company specializing in the renovation of roofs, façades, thermal insulation, heating, ventilation and carpentry.
Represented throughout France, the company has had an agency in Marly since 2016.
The mark will now appear on the back side of the Grenats jerseys for the rest of the 20020-2021 season, as was already the case last Sunday in Nîmes.
