Prince Charles first talks about his style in a rare interview with British Vogue. It is known that the Prince of Wales prefers to repair clothes and even apply patches, rather than buying new ones.
However, in an interview, Prince Charles of Wales received a compliment for his wardrobe. Charles himself admits that he is happy to “think he has style.”
The prince has its own reputation for repairing and improving its worn leather shoes and old suits, which were made a long time ago.
“I felt like a clock stopped – I’m right twice in 24 hours. But … I’m very glad you think it’s style, “he tells the British Vouge, who is excited about the way he dresses.
“I am lucky because I can find wonderful people who are great masters of things that I value very much. That’s why I can stick with it for so long, he adds.
Charles spoke with editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, who had already spoken on the issue of sustainable fashion in British Vogue in 2019.
In the December issue of the magazine, the prince says that he is one of the few who prefers to repair shoes and clothes, if possible, rather than throwing them away and buying a new one. And that’s why, in his opinion, from an economic point of view, people have a huge opportunity to start small businesses that provide clothing repair, maintenance and reuse.
