Under the motto “Your concerns, we deliver”, Colruyt now delivers groceries at home to healthcare employees who have better things to do than shopping in these extremely busy corona times.

“The shopping solution that we developed for hospital staff from March to May was met with enormous support,” says Yves Van den Brande, responsible for Solucious, Colruyt Group’s food service department which is normally only open to professionals. During the first lockdown, Colruyt delivered groceries to the car parks of 13 hospitals.
Now the initiative goes a lot further: from now on the groceries are delivered at home (at a fixed cost of 10 euros, wherever in Belgium) and the service is not only aimed at healthcare staff within hospitals. Employees of residential care centers and reception institutions, including the administrative and support services, can also use it, as can independent care providers.
