Coronavirus in Bergamo, 300 protesting under the house of Giorgio Gori- Corriere.it

It went through the center up to Citt Alta the demonstration against the lockdown, on the evening of Thursday 5 November in Bergamo. The rally, following a rumor on social networks, was in front of the town hall, where about three hundred people gathered, kept under control by the police.

But the demonstrators then decided to reach the home of the mayor Giorgio Gori in via Porta Dipinta, in Citt Alta. Many of them are traders, not politically connoted, but among the people present there were also CasaPound militants. At the cry of Libert the group traveled viale Vittorio Emanuele, then viale delle Mura, to reach the home of the mayor. Gori decided not to go out and talk to the protesters, who continued with slogans and smoke bombs, also singing the Hymn of Mameli.

A first spontaneous demonstration against the anti-Covid measures took place last Thursday in piazzale Alipini and had seen about twenty demonstrators block the traffic in Viale Papa Giovanni and throw paper bombs and firecrackers. One of them had thrown pieces of asphalt at the police and was arrested.
