New York police used facial recognition software to track down a Black Lives Matter activist. He is accused of assault because he is said to have shouted a policeman with a megaphone in the ear. After the identity of the 28-year-old activist Derrick Ingram was established, dozens of police officers drove to his home, some with protective equipment. Ingram streamed the event on Instagram and requested a search warrant, which the police refused to accept. After numerous demonstrators filled the street, the officers left. Ingram presented himself the next day.
