WhatsApp Messages Can Now Automatically Disappear After 7 Days

Suara.com – WhatsApp This week introduced a new feature, which allows messages to automatically disappear within a certain amount of time after being sent. After the specified time, the message will disappear on both the sending and receiving devices.

Currently this new feature is only available in a 7 day selection. This means that 7 days after being sent, the message will disappear on both the recipient and the sender’s cellphone.

WhatsApp says this new feature will help maintain the confidentiality of information and privacy in the application, as reported by the BBC, Thursday (5/11/2020).

This new feature will be available on WhatsApp around the world from the end of November. It is not yet known the specific date of this feature’s presence in the country.

However, users can still outsmart this new feature. If the recipient wants to save messages that are set to disappear automatically, they can take a screenshot or forward the message to another party.

This new feature is part of a series of WhatsApp updates carried out at the end of 2020. Previously, WhatsApp had just launched a feature that made it easier for users to delete large files in the application.

Previously WhatsApp also introduced a silent or muted feature that could last forever.
