Here are the seven best ideas from users to improve OxygenOS

With a post published on their official blog, OnePlus announced the end of the second round of IDEAS 2.0, launched in late September and designed to collect new ideas for OxygenOS, the firmware present on all smartphones of the Chinese brand.

The seven most welcome ideas of this round have been announced, with the development team conducting a series of internal discussions to thoroughly evaluate them and respond to users. If you have participated in the selection and your idea has not been selected, do not despair, the third round is starting which will allow you to post your idea (by visiting This Page) and share it on social networks to make you feel.

Let’s see in detail what were the most popular proposals of this round:

1. Separate volume for each application and double playback, to prevent opening an app from interrupting playback of the music you are listening to
2. Lockscreen customization to choose the appearance of the unlock screen and the items displayed
3. Back Tap Gesture to bring the function resumed from iOS 14 on OxygenOS, so as to take screenshots or other actions with a series of touches on the back cover
4. Prevention of burn-in by moving the pixels of the most delicate areas, to avoid damage to the display
5. Wireless transfer from PC, a solution that would allow you to move files from your smartphone to your PC and vice versa without having to connect any USB cable, in a simpler way than with File Dash
6. Customize the charge level a function to limit the maximum battery percentage. Many think that keeping the battery around 80% prolongs its life and a similar function would allow you to decide the percentage of battery to reach before disconnecting the charger.
7. Double Bluetooth audio to allow playback on two different external devices, such as headphones and speakers, to watch movies with friends or create stereo systems with two speakers
