The days of Portuguese coach Roy Vittoria, coach of Al-Nasr, are numbered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after the team’s results declined recently.
Al-Nasr, led by Vitoria, did not achieve any victory during the first three rounds of the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professional Cup League, where the team won three consecutive defeats.
The Nazarene team also left the Asian Champions League semi-final with a loss to Iranian Persepolis, who made their way to the final.
Vitruia was infected with the Coronavirus, to be one of 14 infected cases announced yesterday by Al-Nasr Club, and he was absent from leading the team’s training.
The Portuguese Taxira, a member of Vitoria’s auxiliary apparatus, led the team’s training in preparation for the Qadisiyah confrontation.
Al-Nasr will meet Al-Qadisiya next Saturday in the fourth round of the Saudi League matches.
Saudi press reports indicated that Vitoria is close to leaving Al-Nasr Club and will be sacked after the team’s meeting with Qadisiyah.
Corona virus has spread among the players of the first team, as eight players have been infected with it, namely Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, Yahya Al-Shehri, Walid Abdullah, Betty Martinez, Abdulaziz Al-Dosari, Khaled Al-Ghannam, Abdel Fattah Al-Asiri and Abdullah Al-Khaibri.
