Covid-19, the president of the Federation of Italian Medical Orders Filippo Anelli commented on the current situation in hospitals
Continue to worry the Covid-19 emergency. The numbers are increasing and, between today and tomorrow, the government should launch a new Dpcm with even more restrictive measures throughout the national territory. The goal is to slow down the surge in infections recorded in the last few weeks.
Speaking on Facebook, the president of the Federation of the Orders of Italian doctors Filippo Anelli provided an overview of the current situation in hospitals. The rise in infections inevitably lies by having the health facilities refilled, and soon it could all get worse and worse. “The second wave may not turn out to be a storm, but a real tsunami ready to overwhelm the entire health system” her words.

A situation that could soon prove unmanageable. The second wave of Covid-19 is leading to increasingly worrying numbers, so much so that the government will soon issue a new Dpcm. Through his Facebook page, the president of the Federation of Italian Medical Orders Filippo Anelli explained the risks of the current emergency. “We ask the government for more aggressive measures, otherwise it will all become unmanageable for the hospitals” we read in the post: “Today’s problem concerns the health system and its resilience. More and more places are being occupied by Coronavirus patients, taking away the possibility of treating other sick people“.
