Leeds –
Brendan Rodgers continues to ‘take its toll’ in the Premier League this season. After Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta, it’s your turn Marcelo bielsa brushed.
Rodgers with Leicester last season was praised for his great performance to help the team compete on the title track. Although in the end Leicester dropped dramatically after the corona virus pandemic and only finished fifth.
Rodgers continued this slick result this season. With a squad that has relatively not changed much, Rodgers was able to advance Leicester just as fast at the start of the season.
He has now brought Leicester to second place in the Premier League standings with 15 points from seven matches, five wins and two defeats. The last victory was won over Leeds United with a score of 4-1, Tuesday (3/11/2020) in the morning WIB.
This is Leicester’s fourth away win this season, aka a clean sweep. Amazingly, three of the four victories were won over teams coached by top managers like Guardiola (Manchester City), Arteta (Arsenal), and finally Bielsa (Leeds).
Guardiola’s City were even slaughtered 2-5 at the Etihad Stadium last month which was the rival’s biggest home defeat. Brendan Rodgers proving that his attacking football is no less okay.
Even Leicester’s goalkeeper has conceded just nine goals so far, the best among the current top four teams.
“Because I am the manager of Great Britain, I was lucky (to beat three top managers), yes, that’s how football goes. But the players deserve a reward for their brilliant performance,” said Rodgers, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“You have to watch Leeds play carefully, see how they play with the winger and take advantage of the width of the field, they want to play basketball, up and down, so you have to make sure they don’t get carried away,” he continued. Brendan Rodgers.
