SEVEN FINALISTS – The Meaning is the union of Italian journalists working in the automotive, mobility and transport sectors. Since 1980 he has organized the award Auto Europe, awarded to cars produced in Europe in at least 10,000 units and also sold in the Old Continent. For the edition 2021 of Auto Europa, BMW 1 Series, Ford Puma, Hyundai i20, Kia Xceed, Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur and Volkswagen Golf arrived in the final.
FRENCH DOMAIN – After the vote, which was attended by a technical jury, 100 opinion leaders and the popular jury, the Auto Europa 2021 award was awarded to the Peugeot 2008: the French crossover, as Uiga explained, was chosen for its qualities in terms of design, comfort and dynamism, as well as for the wide range, which includes versions with petrol, diesel and electric engines. The 2008 succeeds the French Renault Clio, winner of the 2020 edition, and the DS 7 Crossback, which it had won in 2019.
SUPERCAR AWARDS – Together with the first prize, three were awarded to super sports cars: the Ferrari SF90 Stradale received the Yellow Cockade, for style, by the Ferrari style center, and the optional Assetto Fiorano package, which makes the car lighter and improves its driving skills; the Red Cockade was awarded to the Lamborghini Huracán Evo RWD, for the performance offered by its 610 HP 5.2 V10 engine, combined with rear-wheel drive; and the McLaren GT, which combines driving skills and usability, has received the Blue Cockade.
SUCCESS MANAGER – Finally, the Uiga awarded three manager in the automotive world: they are Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Lamborghini, Andrea Levy, creator of the Milano Monza Open-Air Motor Show and Paolo Scuderi, president of Adler Pelzer Group, multinational in the auto parts sector, and president of Anfia, the National Association of the Automotive Industry.
