This time we will focus on tire pressure sensors. For six years now, they have been mandatory in all cars newly registered in the European Union. In others it was before.
These can be pressure measurements by the direct method or from ABS sensors. Despite the cost, the direct method is more popular. Every tire has a real pressure sensor which, like any other part, goes out of order over time. The problem is that the battery runs out first. The batteries are not intended to be replaced, so the entire sensor must be replaced. The originals are expensive, but the installation of the non-originals requires knowledge and equipment.
