Hanover (dpa / lni) – In the fight against the spread of the coronavirus, students in Lower Saxony must wear mouth and nose protection in class at least until the end of November from the fifth grade. Lessons under aggravated Corona conditions began on Monday. The new mask regulation applies to schools in the districts in which there were more than 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days. It is expected that in the coming days schools will switch to classroom teaching and homeschooling again if the values are over 100 and additional corona protective measures are ordered for at least one class. In Lower Saxony, as in all of Germany, restaurants and leisure facilities will also be closed from Monday.
