After that, King Maha was also asked if there was still room for compromise, he replied “Thailand is a land of compromise.”
The King’s comment seemed to answer the attitude of the Royal Palace which remained silent when asked for feedback on the demonstration action in Thailand that never went away.
The demonstrators, led by students, demanded the resignation of the prime minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha and calls for monarchical reform.
The protesters want to suppress the rule of King Maha who now has complete control of certain military units and the palace’s wealth worth tens of billions of US dollars.
