NEW YORK – Authorities are investigating the incident that claimed the life of a bicyclist Sunday afternoon in Manhattan.
The accident occurred Sunday at the intersection of East 97th Street and Second Avenue, around 5:00 pm, when a bicyclist was hit by a pickup.
The victim was transported to the Metropolitan Hospital where she was declared dead.
The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene.
So far no arrests have been reported.
