People who looked at the sky on Saturday evening during a period when there were no or hardly any clouds, saw something special: a so-called blue full moon. That has nothing to do with the fact that it was Halloween that night, but with the fact that it was the second full moon in the month of October. The fact that there was a full moon on Halloween was also a special thing, that only happens once every 19 years.
