Aachen peace movement deeply divided
It is irritating that in really “unpeaceful times” the Aachen peace movement does not pull together! There are actually a thousand important reasons to clearly oppose the current propaganda attacks by NATO and Germany against Russia.
What is the cause: different assessments of the danger of Corona – or racism?

In the following we describe the dispute over the past ten days.
- The starting point was on October 19. A proposal by the “Würselner Initiative for Peace” (spokesman Ansgar Klein) to the rest of the Aachen peace movement to present a speech by Eugen Drewermann as a video, which he held on May 1st, publicly and jointly [1].
- This invitation to a joint event of all three relevant currents of the Aachen peace movement was issued on October 23. from the Anti-War Alliance (AKB) and on October 24. rejected by the Aachen Peace Prize (AFP)! [2]
The refusal on the part of AFP & AKB was not justified by Drewermann’s speech or its content, but with the accusation that the inviting group was following “lateral thinking” activities or working with racist people. - This accusation “lateral thinking” points to the different assessments of the danger of Corona and the associated state coercive measures. In fact, the opinions in the memberships of the three groups differ on this very issue.
- A. Klein comments [3] to the allegations of the AKB and AFP, which led to their refusal to cooperate.
That these points lead to such a sharp separation in the actions of the peace movement is of course bitter for the peace activists. - The accusation of “racism” within the peace movement is even more serious.
This has led to a further escalation, in which Ansgar Klein has now announced an injunction against AKB and AFP [4]. In addition, a lawyer W. Schmitz also has an action for an injunction [5] announced because he was also marked as a racist by the AKB spokesman.

I cannot deal with every confused nonsense of a person, the people whose work he obviously does not know at all and which he assigns to some right spectrum without checking because he likes to tear any statements out of context and apparently according to want to misinterpret a preconceived opinion.
The way you act, in my opinion, you are clearly unworthy of making yourself the spokesman for a peace movement. Because you just follow the usual stupid scheme of slanderers and mainstream propagandists, which consists of simply assigning any opinion that has never been questioned in depth and which one does not want to share to the right-wing or even the racist camp.
This is slanderous propaganda of the most primitive, anti-intellectual kind, but characteristic of so much propaganda that not only shapes the mainstream, but also many varieties of controlled or simply haphazard opposition.
Since this mailing list also includes people and institutions to whom I trust more honesty, maturity and distinctive character than you do, I am sending everyone here at the same time my last interview with a magazine that certainly cannot be assigned to any “right” spectrum.
Everyone will find innumerable evidence on the web that I am the exact opposite of a “racist”, as I have been demonstrably committed to all forms of propaganda, warmongering, constitutional and international law violations and illegal wars by western states around the world for many years, and with a sustainability that you will not find in this form among my more than 165,000 colleagues in Germany.
Sorry, Mr. Gottfried, but if you have no idea about the topics you are talking about and can only pass on your prejudices without checking, then you better keep silent from now on and say goodbye completely to any political activity
Send me only one criminal complaint that you have filed in recent years against wars that are contrary to international law, just one. Can’t you do that? Then you have now demonstrated yourself through your slander !!
