Norwegian prices are also ready, and not unexpectedly, the plugin version is the cheapest with a starting price of NOK 450,000 thanks to a nice Norwegian tax level. But the plugin version does not get four-wheel drive like the other GLA models have. The smallest diesel version, without charging, starts at 576,000 kroner. It has the name GLA 200d 4Matic, has 150 hp and should fix 0-100 km / h in around eight seconds.
The new GLA is more than ten centimeters higher than its predecessor. Although it is 1.5 cm shorter, Mercedes also writes in a press release that it is considerably more spacious. The luggage compartment has been increased by 14 liters and the legroom at the rear by 11.6 cm. The seating position has become higher, ie more SUV in the new GLA version. As an option, the rear seats can also be adjusted 14 centimeters in the longitudinal direction, and the backrest is straightened to increase the load capacity.

218 horsepower
– With flexible solutions, the new GLA is compact and flexible for the city, and capable enough for the cabin. As a plug-in hybrid, this is amplified, with an electric range of 61 km. In other words – emission-free everyday commuting and worry-free long journeys, says Kjetil Myhre, Executive Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car at Bertel O. Steen in the press release.
The electric motor in the plug-in version is seamlessly integrated in the driveline and, together with the four-cylinder internal combustion engine, will provide a system power of 218 hp (160 kW) and a torque of 450 Nm. The water-cooled battery has a total capacity of 16.1 kWh and is thus among the largest in the segment.
