To facilitate the bureaucracy necessary to justify absences from work that are related to the new coronavirus, the Government announced that the health line 24 will make available on its platform the direct issuance of prophylactic isolation statements.
The measure was announced by the Prime Minister, António Costa, this Saturday at the press conference after the meeting of the Council of Ministers. According to the Head of Government, the measure has the main purpose of preventing the displacement of users to the respective health units and facilitating the payment of social security.
The Government wants to prevent people from having to “go to the health center or to the public health doctor of the place of residence to obtain the declaration to justify their absences when their prophylactic isolation is declared”, said António Costa.
