Many people dream of owning a Harley-Davidson but not many can own it. Of course the reason is because the price is extraordinarily high compared to other motorbikes on the market.
However, there are actually several Harley-Davidson hangout alternatives on the Indonesian market. The price is clearly much cheaper, only around Rp. 50 million in Indonesia.
When compared with the cheapest original Harley-Davidson price which is equivalent to a new MPV car, the following motorbikes are worth considering. It’s just that, they don’t offer the same power that Harley-Davidson offers.
1. Keeway V250 FI

Keeway entered the Indonesian market under the umbrella of PT Benelli Motors Indonesia (BMI). Its first product was a cruiser motorbike called the V250 FI which looked similar to the Harley-Davidson moge.
Speaking of design, those of you who dream of Harley-Davidson certainly know the Fatboy model. Yes, the Keeway V250 FI inherits the model’s legacy from front to back.
The difference is only in the engine. Keeway V250 FI uses an injection 250cc SOHC V-Twin engine with air conditioning. This machine moves the tires with a 5 speed manual transmission through the rubber belt, not the chain as usual. The Keeway V250 FI engine configuration is capable of producing 12.5 kw of power and 17 nm of torque.
In the braking section, Keeway V250 FI uses a Combi Brake System. The front disc measures 280 mm, 3-piston calipers, while the rear disc measures 240 mm. Furthermore, this motorbike is equipped with upside down legs at the front and double shocks at the rear.
Keeway V250 FI is available in two variants. The standard variant available in Black Matte is priced at IDR 56,600,000 OTR Jakarta and IDR 57,400,000 OTR Bodetabek. Meanwhile, the Geronimo variant is available in Glossy Black and Glossy Red at a price of IDR 57,600,000 OTR Jakarta and IDR 58,400,000 OTR Bodetabek.
2. SM Sport V16

The motorbike brand from Malaysia, SM Sport, presents the SM Sport V16 as a motorbike option that is quite attractive in the Indonesian market. Carrying a cruiser style like Harley-Davidson, this motorbike is priced at a much cheaper price.
The SM Sport V16 carries a 250 cc V-type engine capable of spitting out 18.8 hp at 8000 rpm and 19 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. This performance is compressed into a 5-speed manual transmission. For safety, this motorbike has been fitted with front and rear discs complete with ABS.
For consumers who want to experience a Harley-Davidson-style hangout at a limited cost, this motorbike is worth considering the selling price of IDR 53,000,000 on the road in Jakarta.
3. Kaisar Ruby V250

The Emperor is another alternative to getting to hang out with Harley-Davidson. This motorbike has been marketed for a long time in Indonesia.
The Emperor Ruby V250 is equipped with a 250 cc 4-stroke V-Twin engine. The engine has a power of 13.2 kw / 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 16.0 kg-m / 6000 rpm. The power is connected to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
Moge Harley-Davidson ‘KW’ is the cheapest compared to the two brands above. The Emperor Ruby V250 has a tag of around Rp.34 million.
