It’s no secret that coronavirus epidemic seriously took its toll on Polish celebrities. Recently, the presence of COVID-19 has been confirmed, among others at Dorota Szelągowska i Jakub Żulczyk.

He also joined the group of people infected with the coronavirus Radoslaw Majdan. Former footballer and husband Małgorzata Rozenek faced with severe symptoms, he had to undergo hospitalization. Thanks to the professional care of Radzio he regained well-being relatively quickly, The 48-year-old did not hide, however, that in his case the symptoms of the disease turned out to be particularly severe. In an interview with WP SportoweFakty Maidan revealed that he developed severe pneumonia as a result of the infection.

I have never felt such tiredness in my life, and after all, I played a few years in football and I did not spare myself. There were also other pains: mainly headaches. It was tearing her apart. After each breath, I was getting attacks of unnatural coughing and choking. Due to my weakness, I was unable to shower and take a bath – says Rozenek’s husband.

Radosław for several days is already at home, where, together with Gosia and the children, he is quarantined, not forgetting to show solidarity with women demonstrating all over Poland.

The footballer is feeling much better, he has also regained his voice, which he had problems with during his stay in the hospital.

Each day works to my advantage. From the moment you leave the hospital, which is Sunday, I can see constant improvement. The energy is back and I have my voice too. I am very happy because I can’t wait to get back to work – he confessed.

Maidan also revealed that he was going to return to his professional duties soon. The former footballer fulfills himself as a commentator of Ekstraklasa matches every day. Fortunately, Radosław does his job in the quiet of the studio – the goalkeeper does not hide that, for health reasons, he intends to avoid stadiums in the near future.

Everything indicates that I will return to work in mid-November, after a break for the national team meetings (…) Now I try not to go outside, pneumonia is a very serious disease. This year, I am definitely not going to the stadium – he assured.

For now, Radosław tries to rest as much as possible, and is also waiting for further research.

I’ll have an x-ray of my lungs in about 2-3 months. For now, I will save myself. I limit my training and exercises (…) Everyone has the disease in their own way, has their own problems. I am very happy that I am slowly recovering. I keep my fingers crossed for everyone who is going through COVID-19 – he says.
