Self-isolation will still not be required after returning from the four countries

When returning from other countries not listed in the SPKC, self-isolation will be required.

Currently, the self-isolation threshold has been adjusted to Latvia’s current two-week cumulative incidence of Covid-19 per 100,000 population, which is currently 121.82 cases.

For countries outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, self-isolation is not required when traveling from Uruguay, Japan, South Korea, Rwanda, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Singapore. These countries are among those allowed to cross the EU’s external border.

The average weekly EU-EEA figure is 360.2, which means that regular passenger services are not allowed to countries with more than 720.4 cases per 100,000 population.

According to the SPKC, from Monday, November 2, regular passenger services to the Vatican, Andorra, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein will be banned.
